These terms govern your use of ForestOps. By creating an account or downloading the desktop runner you agree to them. If you don't, don't use the service.
1. Service description
ForestOps is an agent orchestration platform operated by ScoutsCapital ("we", "us"). It consists of a desktop runner that executes on your machine and a cloud control plane that handles authentication, billing, and metadata. The runner orchestrates third-party AI models that you bring; we do not host those models.
2. Account and authentication
You need an account to use ForestOps. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Notify us promptly at security@forestops.app if you suspect unauthorised access. We may suspend accounts that are inactive for extended periods.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use ForestOps to:
- Build or distribute malware, exploit kits, or other materially harmful software.
- Generate content that infringes intellectual property rights of others.
- Operate the service in violation of applicable export controls or sanctions.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, disable, or interfere with the cloud control plane.
- Resell or sublicense the service without a separate written agreement.
4. Subscription, billing, refunds
Paid tiers are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Pricing, included quotas, and the comparison between Free, Plus, and Pro are listed on /pricing. You can change tier, change seat count, or cancel at any time from the in-app billing portal; changes are prorated against the current billing cycle. We do not offer refunds for partial months, but you can cancel the renewal at any time and continue to use the service through the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. Intellectual property
You own the code your agents produce. You own your prompts, memory, and outputs. We own the ForestOps software, the runner, the cloud control plane, the trademarks, and the documentation. Open-source components retain their respective licences; the runner itself is published under the licence listed in its repository.
6. Model providers
ForestOps orchestrates models you bring. Your relationship with Anthropic, OpenAI, DeepSeek, MiniMax, Z.AI, or any other provider is governed by their terms, not ours. They bill you directly on their own contracts; we don't proxy traffic, mark up usage, or accept liability for their decisions about model availability, content policy, or pricing. If a provider rate-limits, suspends, or refuses your account, that is between you and them.
7. Warranty disclaimer
ForestOps is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. AI-generated output can be wrong, misleading, or unsafe; you are responsible for reviewing it before relying on it for anything that matters.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law our aggregate liability under these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, or lost data.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware, and both parties consent to that jurisdiction.

We may revise these terms over time. Material changes will be announced via email or in-app. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
