ABOUT

Built in the forest by ScoutsCapital.

ForestOps came out of running too many Claude Code sessions in parallel. The problem wasn't intelligence, it was coordination. We built a workforce.

01 · THE ORIGIN

ScoutsCapital is a digital football startup. We built ForestOps to scale our own engineering.

We had 1,000 Claude Code sessions running in parallel and no idea what any of them were doing. So we wrote a director. Then we added a reviewer. Then we made engineers branch into worktrees. ForestOps is what came out the other side.

It's a workforce, not a single assistant. The problem we kept solving wasn't model intelligence, it was making models work as a team. The agents run on your machine, memory stays encrypted, model traffic never touches our servers. That's the architecture.

02 · MANIFESTO

  • 01Models don't need to be hosted.
  • 02Memory belongs to the project.
  • 03Handoffs beat hallucinations.
  • 04No silent state.

03 · THE TEAM

A small group. Distinct roles.

Engineering

Builds the runner, the coordination protocol, and the desktop shell. Writes the code your agents emulate.

Design

Shapes the surface, typography, motion, and the visual rhythm of an orchestration tool that has to feel calm.

Operations

Keeps billing honest, infrastructure quiet, and the open-source side of the project moving.
